Consultation:
On site consultations are becoming a huge part of our workload as many home/ business owners require an honest, non biased opinion prior to engaging a remediation company. On site consultations will take you through the areas of concern and inform you of suspected issues, possible causes and remedies. We will walk your property with you and offer assistance in formulating a plan of action to remedy your problem. ___________________________________________________________ Inspections: Inspections cover all aspects of the consultation with emphasis on moisture readings, humidity and visual assessment of general conditions. At the inspection, samples, (air, swab or tape) are recorded to determine the extent of damage. Samples are sent to an independent laboratory for reading. Reports are formulated documenting visual findings in conjunction with the Lab results to give you a confirmation of what mold types are present and at what levels they may be. Basic recommendations may be provided.This report does not provide a protocol for the remediation of any issues. ___________________________________________________________ Investigations: Investigations cover all aspects of the inspection report with more detailed assessments of the building pertaining to mold issues. Detailed reports of findings and remediation specifications are compiled along with the Laboratory results to give you a comprehensive look at the issues in hand. Detailed Recommendations are provided with regards the remediation process. Included in the report are moisture readings of building materials, humidity readings, digital photographs, Laboratory results determining whether a mold problem exists and recommendations on how to address any mold issues discovered. In extenuating circumstances and where excessive mold is found, it may be suggested that an additional Protocol be drawn up to help facilitate remediation. _________________________________________________ Post Testing: On completion of the remediation process a post testing of the area is recommended. Post testing will offer you confirmation that the air quality of the area is within guidelines and at levels where you will feel confident the project was completed in a professional and competent manner. Whilst no guarantee can ever be given that mold will not return to your home, the post testing will confirm that at the time of the inspection and sampling the area concerned was clean of the initial mold problem. Post testing follows the same format as the inspection listed above and samples will be recorded in the same area / s that previously had failed results. Included in the post test report is a notification of a pass or fail attempt along with the laboratory results. Failing reports do have further recommendations on how to address the ongoing problem. ___________________________________________________________ |
It is never advisable to have the same company perform Air Quality Testing and Remediation. A conflict of interests exists.
